At AKC we fix weak muscles. There may be as many as 35 factors that can inhibit each muscle from functioning properly. Our primary focus is to correct structural misalignments, however there may also be chemical imbalances, organ dysfunctions, stress related factors, and acupuncture meridian defects which can also inhibit or weaken the body's muscles.

What to expect on your first visit

Please arrive early for your first visit and expect to spend at least 90 minutes at our office. After reviewing your patient data sheet, your vital signs such as height, weight and blood pressure will be assessed. Dr. Arnold will then perform a thorough orthopedic and neurological examination including posture analysis, and a detailed muscle performance evaluation related to your concern. Bring any lab work or imaging such as x-ray or MRI that you may have, as this will be helpful and reviewed as part of your visit.

At the end of the examination, we will review a report of our findings which will reveal the following:

  1. What is the underlying cause of your condition
  2. If we think we can help you with this condition
  3. A treatment plan which will include how long it should take to resolve your condition

Of course, we will answer any additional questions you might have at this time. In some circumstances, imaging and/or additional testing will be required and will be referred to the appropriate lab or imaging center. In most cases you can be treated the same day as your initial visit, if time allows.

What types of conditions do we treat?

At AKC, we don't treat conditions, only people with conditions. However, we can help with a wide range of problems. We treat people with everything from a sprained joint to debilitating disease. However, in the latter case we provide only complementary care working with a patient's medical physicians to resolve their concerns.
